"Complaints"

About: Lincoln County Hospital

Anything else?

I 'phoned to make a complaint, spoke to the switchboard operator who was courteous, and was put through to a number that is no longer in service with a recorded message that gave a different number too fast for me to get a pencil to write the number down. All in all a classic example of the contempt held for your patients who, it must be remembered, are also your paymasters! I presume I must now contact the CQC.

I am so sorry you have encoutered a problem with the telephone number. On Monday 21 October we launched our new Patient Advice & Liaison service on our 3 hospital sites and we have have some issues transferring the telephone number to our new service.

This has now been fixed and the new number to contact the central PALS office is 01476 464861. As a result of your comment we have changed the answer machine message and all telephone numbers are repeated and spoken slower.

If you would like to contact me with your concerns I will personally ensure they are actioned immediately. I can be contacted via email - sharon.kidd@ulh.nhs.uk
