I was referred to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for a partial nephrectomy. When I went to see the urologist for the first time, he took time to explain the operation in detail to me and encouraged me to ask as many questions as I like. I came away with print-outs to read and digest at home. Before the operation, he offered to ring my husband (since we live far away from the hospital and my husband couldn't stay) and let him know how the operation went and he did as well. What a caring an considerate doctor and may I say, an excellent one too. Thank you very much, doctor! After the operation, the nurses in Edgefield Ward looked after me really well. All the staff were very helpful and caring. I like to say a big 'thank you' to them and to the catering staff as well. Keep up the good work!
