Anything else?

Having been referred for fertility tests 3 years ago I have undergone a number of tests & appointments. Last October (2012) we were told to come back in one year having had all of our tests done ready to be referred for IVF. We are now 1 year on and I attended my appointment last Thursday 17th October (2013), on arrival we were told they were running 45 mins late, the consultant told us that most of our tests were out of date so they need to be re-done prior to being refereed (despite having a whole year of waiting for this day to come). He said he would fax the ultrasound request to Watford Hospital the next day. 1 week on and I have called Watford Hospital to follow up on this and they have not received anything! They also advised that they have a 6 week waiting list which is now at least 7 weeks as they have no details for me. He advised calling his secretary for any queries which I have just done who said that she has no involvement in this but she will email him to tell him that I have called. I asked who I should call if I need to follow up again as she said it wouldn't be her but she said to just leave a message on her voicemail and to note that she only works Wednesdays & Thursdays. Appalling service! We cant be referred for IVF until this ultrasound takes place and I feel completely let down and now have no confidence in their service.
