Anything else?

I was on M2 a year ago for foot surgery ...it was the worst ward I have ever been on....nursing staff were great except for one staff nurse...she was in the wrong profession... The ward was filthy and old....cleaning staff didn't clean my bedside locker...then when they did...one lifted the stuff while the other gave it a cats lick....then rinsed dirty clothes in the patients wash basin.... The toilet was smelly and dirty...it was like a public toilet...disgusting... My wound had bled ....dried blood was still there on the floor when I went home 24 hours later... The evening of my operation we had heavy rain...my bed had to moved because of a leaking roof... I had no-one to pick me up and was told I would get transport to be then told tough...get a taxi...I din't have taxi money...I was so upset I told them I would get the bus home...I was then told I would get a taxi... The staff nurse in question made me suffer all because I asked for a tablet which I was told by the pain sister I could have...I think she thought I undermined her authority...I was only asking for a tablet.. I then felt she had it in for me....I was the last to be discharged....why? wrong medication was ordered! I told her I had more than enough at home...no you have to be given our medication...At 4-30pm I finally was able to go home...the taxi driver came up from the ward for me...little did I know....every other patient had a nursing escort and a wheel chair...I got neither...I had to hobble to the main entrance...two nurses passed me in the corridor to ask why I didn't have an escort as they free? I have been admitted many times for various procedures...M2 was my worst experience....I was so upset when I got home...bring in so much pain and treated so badly by one nurse is something I will never forget... I sent a letter of complaint to Clatterbridge Hospital to be told it was an one off incident of cleanliness...no it wasn't...I watched them they had a system of cleaning...there is no excuse of washing clothes in a patients basin... I was in Arrowe Park Hospital...could not fault it in anyway...Clatterbridge Hospital needs good overhaul of working relationship...it says on the leaflet if you see anything tell someone...who? Only good thing about Clatterbridge Hospital...food is awesome....
