I called for an ambulance when my 44 year old son had a heart attack. I called 999, within 3 or 4 minutes the ambulance was here even though we are in a rural area on a farm.
The crew were fantastic, without their quick response and treatment, getting my son to Taunton hospital in half an hour things could have turned out very badly. I’m sure they saved his life.
I was in the health service for 33 years as a nursing sister and understand the pressure under which they work. I feel one needs to give praise where it is due.
My son is now recovering and working on the farm as much as he can.
"I’m sure the ambulance crew saved my son's life"
