Anything else?
I was admitted to the Medical Admissions Unit briefly at the end of March, where everyone was very kind and considerate towards me. In the ensuing months I have had several diagnostic tests - X-rays, ultrasounds, ct scan, I was always seen on time and everything was explained to me. I was finally admitted to the Cardiac Investigation Unit in October for an angiogram/angioplasty when a stent was fitted. Throughout my brief stay on the CIU I found all the staff wonderful - porters, nurses, doctors, radiologists, absolutely everyone. They were caring and friendly, and recognised my fears and dealt with them kindly. I cannot praise them enough, and I would like to especially thank the cardiologist and his team, and everyone in the Cardiac Cath Lab, for making my experience bearable. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful hospital in Cornwall staffed by great people. We are often quick to criticise and slow to praise, but I will be eternally grateful for the care and treatment that I received there and would like to spread the word. Thank you, Treliske.
