Anything else?
My dad was taken to the A&E department by ambulance after a fall during a trip into London. As it wasn't our local hospital my mum couldn't easily get there so I made my way across town to be there. The A&E departement updated my mum by phone several times so that she was reassured dad was ok. I really appreciated this as it made a stressful situation much easier to handle. The staff in the A&E department were friendly and helpful, they looked after my dad well and got him through a series of tests quickly and calmly. I know it's not part of the A&E service, but the local cab company whose details are in reception were also quick & kind. Dad is fine, but we were told to call/return if any issues after he had been discharged. Whilst I don't plan on returning, if I ever need an A&E dept I'd be happy to be at the Royal London.
"A&E - great treatment"
