Anything else?
I recently had a miscarriage,I had severe pain like I've never felt before,so went to a and e,was waiting there for over and hour, hunched over and sobbing,no one checked if I was ok,then got admitted to an overflow ward, where again I was left for over 2 hours, still sobbing in pain,my partner at this point was very agitated and upset,I was then given paracetamol and blood tests, eventually I was seen by a nurse who told me I was probably having a miscarriage and I should go to my early pregnancy unit the next day,I was given antibiotics, still in pain and sent home with no pain relief!! At home I spent the night awake sobbing.the next day they took blood again and sent me to the wrong ward,to have that blood taken,by this time I was hysterical,in so much pain and had no clue what was going on. When I managed to ask for pain relief I was told, there's a pharmacy downstairs? no aftercare was given,I didn't know what's to expect, the only aftercare I was given was a phone call that day to tell me I had miscarried and did I have any questions. After hearing news like that how was I supposed to think of questions.the nurse then hung the phone up? I tried to stay calm at home and the pain became unbearable,I went to the toilet and discovered a foetus,no one told me this was going to happen,I had no idea how to deal with this,........I've not been offered any scans to check that my uterus is ok,I've not been told when it's ok to conceive again. When I do become pregnant again I will not be setting foot anywhere near mayday, and hope that no one I know and love will ever be sent there.....it's not a hospital it's a joke.....
