About: Harmoni / NHS 111 London Ambulance Service NHS Trust St George's Hospital (Tooting) / Accident and emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

I found the 111 service telephone handling excellent, they sent out a GP followed by an ambulance. We were taken to St George's A&E.

I can't complain about the service it was fast and effective.

The only improvement I would suggest would be for the patients details to be passed on. When the G. P arrived they were not aware of my mothers illness (vascular dementia, Alzheimer) and the same happened when we arrived at the hospital. The communication could be improved between the different services.

May I suggest that you discuss with your own GP, your health issues and ask him / her to place a 'Special Note' for you with the NHS111 service so that we are aware of all your health needs to inform how we support you when you call NHS111.
