I am a sufferer of cancer and have to visit West ward monthly. The staff could not be more helpful and always polite. Sometimes I have to wait a long time for the treatment because they are so under staffed. I also have to visit the out patients department about every two or three months and again I am treated with great dignity.

Thank you for your review of the care and treatment you received on West Ward and the outpatients department under our Haematology team. Feedback of any kind is always appreciated and we will make sure that all the Haematology team are aware of your positive comments. We do apologise that on occasion you may have waited longer than necessary for treatment. The matron for the area would like to reassure you that West Ward will have a full complement of staff by November this year.
