What could be improved

I wish to shorten my original comment on my care at wythenshawe hospital giving less detail. Please replace my comment with the following : During my recent inpatient stay at wythenshwe hospital for the birth of my child i found many aspects of the care i received very disappointing. I found many of the midwives unapproachable and unhelpful during my 3 day stay. I found the pain relief available inadequate. I gave birth in the early evening time and was not offered a shower or any means of having a wash at all. My baby was found to be jaundiced during our stay and was put in a phototherapy cot - i was told to leave her in the open cot with only a nappy on for 12 hours except for feeding times -it was at least 8 hours before another midwife told me she was supposed to have a lid on the cot to keep her warm! I will be choosing a different hospital for the birth of any subsequent children.
