"it was my third time at the hospital ..."

About: Wythenshawe Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

it was my third time at the hospital for heart surgery having been looked after by whythenshawe since i was 8 years old. The last 2 times i have been on the same ward and was looked after by the same surgeon and the same aneathetist and the nurses i have to say that the care i recieved was wonderful they all made me feel at ease and when i had a bad time they were all concerned and were there to encourage me.I would have no hesitation in going back if i ever needed too.

What could be improved

maybe seperate showers and toilets for men and women no other concerns.

Thank you very much for your kind comments. We are soon undertaking a refurbishment programme in order to reduce some of the mixed sex bathrooms in the older parts of the hospital. I will ensure that your positive feedback is passed on to Cardiology.
