I cannot stress enough how brilliant the Good Hope hospital Maternity unit and staff were to us. Floor 5 ... In fact I can extend that to all the Maternity support and assistance (both pre and post giving birth) we have received. From the moment we found out we were pregnant, the support has been of an exceptional and impressive standard. They kept us informed thru-out the entire pregnancy and helped us along the way with the various choices we had to make. They did this in a friendly and professional manner and never once said “you must do this”, it was always a choice for us to make – this really made us feel in control and empowered.
