Seamless from start to finish. Very professional, friendly, courteous service by everyone I encountered during my short afternoon stay. Nothing was too much trouble and all staff seemed to work well as a team, with smiling faces and no evidence of staff stress that is sometimes evident in some hospital environments. I was visited regularly and kept fully informed throughout as to what was happening by ward staff, physios, theatre staff and consultants and advised of recovery expectations. Despite some initial first evening difficultlies in getting used to crutches, by the next day I was fine, and am now pottering about indoors and just using a stick for stairs etc or when tired.
