"Our helpers were kind and friendly"

About: St Michael's Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as the patient),

Today my carer and I were picked up from my care home in Bristol so I could attend the Audiology Clinic at St Michael's Hospital, Bristol. We were taken there in an ambulance which accommodated my wheelchair, promptly and helpfully, and also returned in the same way. Our helpers, Tim and Pat on the outward journey, and Craig and John on the return, were kind and friendly and I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

I hadn't realised that the return journey had been booked for a certain time so we were late. We will know for next time. I do wonder if such information shouldn't be told to passengers automatically so they can accommodate the situation and be a little more helpful than we were.
