I've been for an appointment in endocrinology today and the whole experience was excellent, from the reception staff, the Doctor himself, his secretary and his delightful endocrine testing staff. Everyone was pleasant and polite, and could not have been more helpful; they also had a sense of humour, which is a lovely thing to be able to say! They treated us like guests and though we only visit once a year, it's never been a negative experience. Please pass on our best wishes and thanks to everyone concerned. Sheffield Teaching Hospitals saved my life way back, from 1976 on, and I'm still alive and kicking.
