"D G Wood grateful patient"

About: Scarborough General Hospital

Anything else?

After having had 1 major operation to remove my kidney and my ureter, and 4 minor procedures to remove tumours at about 3 monthly intervals by a surgeon who I cannot speak more highly of. I feel that I must publish my appreciation on your web page. I have had BCG treatment by 2 caring nurses and spent spells in Intensive care Maple and Holly wards. On every occasion I have been treated with dignity and caring, and after 15 months of operations and treatments have now been told that there are no visible signs of any new tumours at present. I know this does not mean the cancer cannot come back again, and I have to carry on having treatment but I must stress that I have had 5 star treatment on every occasion and would recommend Scarborough hospital to anyone.
