Anything else?
I went to the unit yesterday 11th October 2013. I found a wheelchair straight away and waited for my husband to park (not an easy task!) He took me to check in and I was seen almost immediately by a very pleasant receptionist. The waiting time on the white board said 30 mins and I was certainly seen at about that time if not sooner. The nurse who examined me (following a fall I had in the street) was very thorough, kind, gentle and reassuring. She booked me in for Xray which I only waited a short time for. The radiographer was very jolly and put me at ease. He was gentle too, showed me the Xray and assured me there were no breakages in my ankle. Just a short wait again to be discharged by the nurse with relevant paperwork/info. We had lunch in the dining room which was excellent (very clean, friendly staff). All done and out within two hours!!! What a wonderful asset to this town it is and the staff deserve high praise. Thank you.
