Anything else?
I had a long and tiring labour in juno, but my midwife was there to support me and deliver my baby, all the midwives but particularly the iceni ladies where amazing, supportive, caring, and they made what could have been a very tough couple of days bareable and meant I will never forget them and how they helped my little family. I stayed one night on the lexden ward, and after changing my first nappy late at night, one of the lovely midwives bought me a hot chocolatand biscuits, they also chatted to me and made sure I was comfortable and was able to feed my baby. My only problem was leaving the next day, it took the very rushed midwives 6 hours to sort out the paperwork so we could leave, I was extremely tired and aware that my bed was likely needed for someone else, but kept being told that they would sort it out soon. In the end we had to ask one lady many times but it was sorted and we could leave. Apart from that, and amazing experience and wonderful doctors and midwives! Thank you!!
"Wonderful caring midwives, made my stay so nice!"
