Being treated for a benign condition .The consultant found pre cancerous cells.I had two small operations where more cells were discovered and I was advised to have a mastectomy by the consultant because he had no way of knowing how many more precancerous cells were in my breast only through a micro scope. I had the mastectomy on 9th Sept. I was in hospital for two days.Both wards I was on C4 and F4 gave me first class attention,all we're caring and friendly and I felt confident with my care. I went home after two days. After the the drains were removed I had a complication that can occurs now and again.On returning to the clinic the care and attention the. Consultant,nurses and staff gave me each time I attended was excellent.Nothing seemed too much trouble for any of them.I can't thank them enough.The breast team at North Manchester hospital are caring, friendly, professionals under the care of the consultant.
