I received three appointments by letter for an ECG exercise test two at Stafford hospital and one at Burton- I tried cancelling both Stafford appointments by phone as I had had the test done at Burton Hospital. I have lost count how many times I have phoned to cancel the Stafford appointments - I have not been able to speak to anyone to confirm the cancellations, so now my GP will get two letters saying I DNA'd the appointments. Its about time patients could cancel appointments by text or on-line......Very Frustrating !

I am sorry to hear of your difficulties when trying to cancel your appointments. I have shared your feedback with the patient access manager who I know is actively seeking to improve this for future patients. We are in the process of introducing an email address on all appointment letters for patients wishing to contact us in this way.
