"My fabulous day with DMH Involvement for MHA weeks"

When I walked in the Involvement Centre it was a lovely surprise to see how everything had been set out for the All About You Day the Centre was running along with the Recovery College. The staff greeted me in a lovely way as usual and made me feel very welcome. The DMH Involvement Centre is like my second home and would like to thank everyone for all the help, support and kindness I get when I attend Involvement. Thanks to Involvement I am now involved in Story Shop, Patient Feedback Challenge, ELC, CPA Presentations, co designing the What is Involvement Course at the Recovery College, word power exam and maths and English qualifications. I would like to thank Sally and Jonathan for giving me help and support.

Along with the Head of Involvement (Paul Sanguinazzi), I am responsible for the Trusts two Involvement Centres, and our Volunteering and Befriending Service. I help to report all of the feedback we receive as a Trust to the Board.

Dear Fioij2,

Thanks for posting your feedback on Patient Opinion. I was at the 'All about you' event at the centre, and I agree with you - the centre looked great and as ever, Sally Jonathon and Fiona welcomed everyone with open arms and smiles!

It was a really interesting session, which focused on physical health on mental health awareness day. I thought Back-Care-Bill was a particular delight, so enthusiastic and knowledgeable!

It's lovely that you say DMH Involvement Centre is like your second home. Our volunteers do such a lot for us, the least we can do is provide a place where everyone feels welcome. You are clearly contributing a massive amount through being involved in Story Shop, the PFC, ELC, presentations etc - you sound busy!

Thank you for everything you do with us, we really appreciate your help and your contribution to the Trust. I will definitely pass on your thanks to Sally and Jonathon, they will be delighted to hear how you feel (and may post their own responses).
