Following a very serious break to his arm my son had 2 stays, 2 operations and multiple visits to Kings Mill. The care he (and I) received in A&E, Ward 25, the operating theatres, out patient clinics and occupational therapy was outstanding. While we did have to wait for the operations and some appointments we were always kept well informed as to the reasons for, and likely durations of the delays. The communication regarding the procedures being carried out and ongoing recovery was excellent both in terms of clarity and compassion. The orthopaedic consultant responsible for my son's care and her team were exceptional. My sincere thanks to everyone at Kings Mill for their kindness, professionalism and hard work.
