Anything else?
I was recently admitted to the clinical assessment unit following a long spell in A & E. Most of the staff in A & E were pleasant and helpful, but in the clinical decision unit I found the staff and treatment appalling. I was given a piece of dry stale bread for breakfast and could not get water when I needed a drink. Very few of my needs were met. The nursing staff were not very sympathetic, pleasant or helpful and the standard of care in general very poor. I was shocked and horrified when one member of nursing staff was verbally abusive to a patient when she wouldn't take her medication (not sure if I can actually say what she called her). This is totally unacceptable under any circumstances. The food was unpalatable. All in all, I had a very bad experience and found the level of care and nursing staff diabolical,
