What I liked
I was in for nearly 2 weeks suffering from gall stones and leaving without them and my gall bladder.
All staff, from doctors to cleaners, were friendly, helpful, hardworking and efficient.
The food was also very good---the pea soup rates a special mention! Service was also top quality
The bathing/sanitary accommodation was clean and easy to use.
In conclusion , I don't think I could have possibly received better treatment/care.
Many thanks to all
What could be improved
Car parking! but you already knew that!!
Getting appointments for scans and waiting for results seemed to be a delaying factor --I felt that more rapid results could have saved some of "my bed occupation time". I noticed however that a new IT system for reading results on the wards was apparently just coming into operation --this could be a big time saver.
I felt the staff could have been a bit more forthcoming on what was happening and what I might expect and what was needed when I left hospital. Perhaps a sheet of "frequently asked questions" for the more common conditions could be provided. I think this would help
"I was in for nearly 2 weeks suffering ..."
