My father was taken into A&E then transferred to Ward 20 Zone 3 ( 6.1) on 7/10. The care & attention he got was fabulous & restored my faith in elderly care. My father is 89 next month & consequently my sister & I frequently deal with doctors, hospital & nursing homes & have done over the last few years. This ward stood out from anything we have dealt with in the past especially a male nurse. I watched him not only with my father but with others. He was extremely respectful & treated them how you would wish to be treated yourself. If all carers of the elderly were like this nurse then we would have no problems & not hear the horror stories in the media. I would like to thank him & the other staff who looked after my father so well during his short stay.
