Anything else?
I went to the Urgent Care Centre at Hemel Hempstead Hostial and the paramedics who took me there were very professional and caring. The nurse who saw me first was also caring too but the Dr. who saw me was very wrong in his diagnostic and did not take into consideration what I said. I was in a lot of pain almost unable to stand up. I had a kidney problem. He sent me home with pain killers and he said that I did not have any infection (apparently the test did not show it). As I was leaving I got worse I was begging for help to the receptionist, I was confuse, in pain, on my own and in need of help. She kept saying to me while she was typing, wait I need to finish this report. I said to the receptionist I cannot go home like this, I am in too much pain, I asked for some water to take the pain killer (at that point the Dr. came in and said you need to go home). Finally receptionist past me some water to take the medication. I went home and I got worse and worse, after that I when to see my GP who did a test and confirm that it was a problem with my kidney and prescribed antibiotics and proper pain killers and I got better very quickly. It is sad to see the way staff at the Hemel Hempstead Hospital behave towards me. This took place on 7 October from 6:30am to 8:00am. I think the hospital needs to review the staff at the Urgent Care Centre specially the luck of technical knowledge of this doctor and the luck of care shown by the receptionist and the doctor which in the long term could kill one of their patients. I cannot recommend The Urgent Care Centre at Hemel Hempstead Hospital to anyone.
"Very poor care"
