Anything else?

The department responded quickly after I was sent to the Harmony Clinic by the 111 service. I was taken straight through by a nurse who triaged me quickly. She got me Ibuprofen and Paracetamol. I felt much better after I'd taken them. It was a fantastic service. Even though I was not the most critical patient; I was still seen promptly by a lovely, chirpy F2. She quickly assessed me again and I was given Phenoxypenicillin (?) and about ten minutes later, the registra made his own assessment. It turned out a bad neck, temperature of almost 40°C and difficulty swallowing was tonsillitis. Had a course of antibiotics.

We were pleased to learn that you received responsive and efficient care during your attendance in the A&E department. Your kind comments will be passed on to the staff concerned. We hope that you are feeling better and recovering from your tonsillitis.
