Arrived at St Helier at 7pm with my 13 year old son who had hurt his wrist. Signed in at reception and directed straight away to children's A&E. On arrival seen quickly by triage nurse who spoke directly to my son. Shortly thereafter given X-ray form. On arrival at X-ray department seen immediately and X-rays taken. Back to children's A&E where we had a fairly short wait to see a doctor who diagnosed a broken wrist. Through to treatment area where A&E nurse applied back slab cast, information leaflet given. Back to reception to make appointment for fracture clinic. From arrival to discharge 2 hours. Very impressed with service and treatment received. Must keep this A&E department open. Best in the area.
