After a 5 week stay in Eliot Ward, My Dear Father Ernest passed away aged 85yrs. He received the most excellent care, shaved and washed daily, clean bedding and he was treated with the utmost dignity. Although his ability to communicate was limited, I knew he greatly appreciated this as a former military man personal grooming was very important to him. In the last 5 days of his life I spent many hours by his bedside, and throughout observed nothing but professionalism. As I live in London and I am not familiar with Taunton, I received advice on accommodation, car parking etc I would like to thank all the staff that were involved in caring for My Father. The doctors, nurses, reception, catering and cleaners. You do a wonderful job that I feel goes unrecognised. Again, thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Alison
