I first saw the specialist at Clacton hospital in August 2012. I then had loads of tests & appointments at Clacton hospital. I finally got to see the surgeon in February 2013.at Colchester General. I was promised I would be operated on as soon as a suitable time was available. I finally got an appointment for my operation on 12th August.2013. 2 days before hand I got a letter to say it was cancelled. I then had to wait another five weeks till 16th September for another appointment to have my operation. Guess what I got a letter again to say that my operation was cancelled again. This also means that twice now I have had to travel to Colchester for pre operation assessments and wasted my time in fuel and parking fees. I phoned the hospital and was promised I would get another appointment before the end of the month September 2013. Now a further 3 weeks down the line and still not heard a thing. What a shambles
