Anything else?
We had a referral by the GP. First of all, the appointment letter sent to me was for one date and when i turned up for appointment it was cancelled by appointment head within the department and didn't think it was necessary to inform me about it. I could not be seen by the doctor as all appointments were full. So was given another appointment a week later which means Me and my partner had to take time off again to be seen. Reception staff were rude. Same episode has repeated twice, within last 6 months which is the reason for this review. Some consultant are great, particularly one of the senior consultant. However met with one consultant and Nothing was expalined properly, previous notes were not read as the consultant had no idea what he was talking about. Gave us info in a manner which caused me and my partner undue stress and confusion for past 3 months and we then decided to take a second opinion privately and found out that all stress could have been avoided with just a simple explanation by the consultant. But again just shows the incompetence of the consultant within fertility ward. Needless to say how bad the whole experience has been so far - for past 12 months!!
