"Having a hysterectomy"

(as the patient),

I received excellent care at the Women's Health Unit when I went in for a hysterectomy. From my first appointment to surgery and afterwards I couldn't have asked for better treatment.

I was very sick after surgery and Anna, the theatre nurse didn't leave my side until I was feeling well enough to return to the ward.

When back on the ward nothing was too much trouble and the staff did everything they could to look after me.

The ward was spotless and I really couldn't find anything to complain about.

I was lucky to be under the care of Dr Gondale who was standing in for Dr Haldar and she was wonderful.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this hospital to anyone having a hysterectomy
