I visited the Minor Injuries unit at this hospital twice whilst on holiday in the area . It was a pleasure . The staff were very friendly so you were immediately able to relax. They carefully explained everything that was happening . I didn't have to wait in the evening or the morning . I really thought the whole place was exceptional . Spotlessly clean and staffed by cheerful and efficient staff . My problem was resolved , many thanks to you all. Penny W .

Dear Penny Thank you so much for your very kind comments. It is heart warming to hear you describe your visits to Alnwick Infirmary as a ‘pleasure’ and the care received there as ‘exceptional’. Our staff work very hard to provide high levels of excellent care to ensure patients feel fully informed, and have confidence and trust in the team who are caring for them. I will make sure that all concerned have a chance to read your note. Your comments about cleanliness will thrill our domestic team, thank you. Two trips to hospital whilst on holiday feels a bit unlucky to me ! I do hope you were still able to enjoy the rest of your stay in this very beautiful part of the country.
