"Dislocated finger"

About: Southampton General Hospital

Anything else?

Having taken a fall off a set of stepladders, my small finger was at a strange angle and bleeding. A friend drove me to Southampton A&E. I have nothing but praise for the treatment I received. The receptionists, triage nurse, x-Ray staff and the doctors, all very professional. My finger was stitched up, then reset in the position it should be. The light banter with the doctors, helped make a traumatic experience for me, not so bad at all. So a big thank you to the staff who treated me.

We were pleased to read that what was a traumatic experience was made easier for you by the professionalism of the staff. Your feedback and thanks will be shared with the staff and we all hope that your finger is healing well.
