Anything else?

My daughter recently went into RPH Ward 12 SAU as an emergency, although she was told it was not life threatening. Firstly the first nurse we spoke too had no idea she had been transferred from Chorley and told us "its not a drop in centre" !, she was nil by mouth for nearly 24 hours before they told her she would not be operated on that night and the process of the emergency list would start the day after after. Finally she was taken down for her operation after a lot of tears and tantrums, she was down there 3 hours , the care she received from the other nurrses was excellent on ward 12. I went to ask the helpdesk a question about carparking and the lady was so rude to me, that even the lady with her looked shocked and offered to help me, I know they are volunteers but there is no need for rudeness like that, she just didnt want to be bothered helping anyone ? My daughter was then discharged and sent to Ward 17, the nurses there were lovely except for one, very rude and totally ignorant my daughter just asked her a simple question about how long would her medication be, the nurs just turned and said you havent been here long, to which my daughter replied its been 2 hours and the nurse said well thats nothing and just walked out. After a while longer my daughter went to find the nurse that had been so helpful with her and she was talking to her the nasty nurse turned up and huffed at my daughter, which my daughter wasnt happy about and it ended with the nurse saying im not gonna ring up about youre medication now you can just wait ! I just dont know why they dont change careers if they cant be bothered with people. caring is very important in their job . let me just add also the carpark men were very helpful, couldnt have asked for more, thank you to them.
