I'm not sure if it's just the CAMHS service at Johnson Community Hospital or if it's like this everywhere, but it is dreadful! Don't get me wrong, I did like my therapist and it did kind of help me, but towards the end of my treatment (had to stop because of turning 18) I started to get worse again, and they just discharged me! With no further care! This caused me to relapse and I am now almost back to where I started. The best they did for me was informing my doctor that i'd been discharged and that i'd go back to the doctor if I got worse again, but due to reasons (including some as to why I seen CAMHS in the first place) I cant talk to people on the phone or in person very well without my heart pounding and being crazily anxious! So now I don't know what to do, because now I have to go through the same process I did initially, telling them all my symptoms and problems again, probably get the same treatment again and probably get absolutely no where in trying to help my problems. So thank you very much CAMHS, it was 2 steps forward and 37 steps back with your lack of treatment and after care/support.
