What I liked
My newborn daughter was admitted to the scbu from another hospital and the staff on the neo-natal medical ward are incredible i have nothing but praise for them, they saved her life.
What could be improved
I was admitted to the maternity ward post emergency c-section. I had my own room which was filthy there was even someone elses blood on the toilet wall! the floors were disgusting and there was dust everywhere. On the first night i arrived after my c-section i wasn't even checked on they did the admittance stuff then i was abandoned the didn't even help me shower and after my epidural i was still wobbly but had to shower alone. in the following days i wasn't given any assistance to go get food which was inedible anyway. i could go a whole day without a midwife checking on me. Luckily i had no problems but i would compare my stay on the maternity ward to staying in a B&B
