"My mother's fall at home"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Endocrinology

(as a relative),

My mother had fallen at home. She was admitted due to the lack of balance and shock. When she finally settled in Bletchingley the treatment could begin. I understand that some people with dementia are not easy to deal with and need a lot of patience.

The staff worked well with my mother and our family. Communication was good and with clear input from the family and understanding from the staff my mother has made a very good recovery.

She is now at her home and is back to her old self. Thank you.

Dear 'Horatio'

Thank you for your feedback regarding your mother's care at East Surrey Hospital. We are always pleased to hear about the good care our patients receive.

I am glad you felt that both the communication and care of your mother was good and that your mother is now better.

I will make sure your comments are passed on to the staff on Bletchingley Ward.

Kind Regards,

Bethan
