Within a week of diagnosis I have had tumor removed. The staff at Breast Screen Unit are all very kind, caring and calming. The theatre staff were also just as kind, caring and calming. The recovery room staff, sorry I can't remember your name, were excellent helping manage my post surgery discomfort carefully rather just doing what they thought. Staff on the day Case Unit, were amazing. Nothing too much trouble even at the busiest times. A member of staff carefully explained everything that I needed to know before and after surgery and again before my discharge. All the information given was relevant to me. I have had visits to other hospitals and I did not receive the same level of care. A huge thank you to everyone who looked after me and I will continue to sing your praises as the whole process was seemless from my initial referral to the Unit through to admission for my operation.
