What I liked

Very thorough. Excellent in an acute situation. Staff very friendly and supportive. A welcoming atmosphere. Staff work well together. Information well explained. When I arrived I was obviously very worried. I was treated in A&E, MAU and Ward 33. The service was excellent. Although Staff are very busy and overworked. They cope well in the difficult situations. . I have been treated in the heart centre for nearly a year now which is excellent. The heart centre is also very clean. This is an excellent hospital with many outstanding features.

What could be improved

The cleanliness overall is satisfactory but could be improved. It would be beneficial to increase the number of nurses on the wards to ease pressure on the staff
