What could be improved

grandaughter as out patient, 12 Nov 2007. she was given appt for CT Scan arrived machine was broken sent home. phoned to ask about another appt as waited over 3 months for first appt, as she is only 2 yrs old couldn't be seen straight away needed a bed. First appt was booked without bed error on hospitals part so she couldn't have been seen first time anyway. after numerous phone calls appt made again for the 14/11/07 phone hospital on 12/11/07 to check appt and told she wasn't booked in no bed for her on childrens ward even though we had been told she had appt for 14/11/07. This is very annoying and upsetting for her mother as she is worried about her condition and we just can't seem to get appt now because her first one was cancelled. Improvements would be admin staff making notes and talking to each other so messages get passed on to the correct dept.
