About: Alexandra Hospital / Maternity care

(as a parent/guardian),

Total exclusion from the delivery suite despite being the named and approved birthing partner of my granddaughter who is living with me. I felt treated badly all day by the attending midwife. My granddaughter's midwife had told the hospital of her concerns recently whilst my granddaughter was in the delivery room.

I shall be taking this matter further and contacting my MP as I am disgusted by the midwifes attitude towards me throughout the day.

Your hospital is fully aware of my granddaughters situation.

We are very disappointed to hear about your negative experience on delivery suite. We would very much like to investigate this but require more information for us to be able to do this.

We take complaints very seriously and would encourage you to contact Fiona pagan, Senior Sister, Labour Ward at fiona.pagan@worcsacute.nhs.uk in order for her to investigate this.
