i had day surgery on monday 23 september 2013 at carlisle infirmary i met the surgeon and aneathetist all the staff were lovely i was there for 7-30am and had my op at 9-15am i woke up at 12-15pm ok then unfortunately i went downhill they gave me a yog and hot sweet tea i was sick then i got 2 plain biscuits and water i could not get it down they put me on a drip i did come round about 8pm desperate to go home the nurse said i would be fine!! i was sick again in the car but no way was my husband taking me back into hospital on saying allthat idont feel too bad now and its only been 2days i am 66years old also my son rang at 6-30pm to see how i was andthe recepionist put him here there and everywhere but they never found me !!! not good
