" Contacting the rheumatology phone line"

About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital / Rheumatology

(as the patient),

I needed some advice about my medication as I had flu and didn't know whether I should take my injection.

The special telephone line is open between 2pm and 3pm. I rang and got the answer phone but the message is quite aggressive and feels like friendly fire! It is quite shocking in its tone and I feel you need to be quite strong to actually leave a message. Very off putting and it took me two goes at ringing before I left my message.

No one got back to me for a week!
