"Totally ridiculous!"

About: Wycombe Hospital

Anything else?

Was referred to trauma and orthopaedic dept after potentially fracturing my scaphoid. After having two lots of X-rays done on separate occasions I was then told I would need an MRI scan of my right wrist for confirmation. I was told this would need to be done within two weeks and another appointment with the T&O dept the following week. I have just received a letter in the post today from the X-ray department stating the earliest appointment they can give me is a months time??!! Bearing in mind I have already been in considerable pain for a month and unable to use my right hand at all I feel this is highly unacceptable. I am willing to travel to another hospital for the MRI if there is an appointment that is sooner however I have not been given the option.
