I was admitted as an emergency on 1 September and felt a little anxious when the ambulance staff said they were taking me to Furness General because of the recent stories in the press. I am very pleased to report that the care I received particularly in the Coronary Care Unit was first class. The staff were kind ,caring, very efficient and fun. The ward was very clean and even the food was good! I cannot thank the staff enough for being so helpful to my husband and I and for making my stay, if not exactly a pleasure, a calm and comfortable one.
