What I liked
My uncle was admitted to ITU after being assaulted with a hammer. The care and treatment he recieved was outstanding, i have nothin but praise for the staff especially two nurses who took care of him - unfortunately i cant remeber their names - but thank you. Even thought he was sedated and on a ventilator he was treated witht he upmost dignity and respect and i am sure without their efforts he would not be with us today. Due to the high level of care and compassion he is now recovering slowly and has a good prognosis for the future, thank you to all the staff in ITU.
What could be improved
The telephone manner of a particular member of staff, as she was very blunt, rude and obnoxious towards me on the phone, when ringin up to enquire she said and made me feel i wasnt welcome to come visit my uncle and was very abrupt, causin a great amount of un-needed distress, which is unwelcome at that time and in that situation.Other than that every other aspect was exeptionally good.
