"10 month old in for some tests after GP referral"

About: Tameside General Hospital / General medicine

(as a parent/guardian),

My Son was referred to my local hospital by my GP after some blood was found in his diarrhea. It was expected to just be part of a viral infection but was sent in for some tests to be sure.

Our 10 month old became a little cranky at one point and we took him into a sensory room which was excellent and kept him entertained during the inevitable periods of waiting for test results.

The Children's Services at Tameside were excellent. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful and I don't think I could be positive enough about how nice both myself and my partner found them. Thumbs up all round.
