After spending 3 weeks on Ward 18 our 89 year old mother sadly died in early August 2013. However, we have nothing but praise and admiration for the care given to our mother by all Ward 18 staff members, from domestic staff through to the consultants. Not only was our mother cared for with the utmost dignity and respect this was also shared with family members at all times - nothing was ever too much trouble. What was a very difficult time for the family was eased and more bearable by all those involved in Mum's care at the Royal Preston Hospital.
